When we think of lawyer, a deceitful person comes to mind, instead of an advocate of justice. We also usually think of monetary gains when we involve a lawyer. But codes of law and their petitioners have been around since the beginning of civilization. We think of civilization as the linking relationships between people and the society as a whole. But there must be rules to govern and keep the peace, as much as their must be punishment to those that don’t adhere to such. And when we think of the natural deceit of human nature, there must be those that defend the law and those that use the law to defend themselves.
Lawyers come into play as those that are well read in their codes and practises and that can wield the power of words to sway a judge and/or jury. They must understand the law and its intrincities. And they have to have a relieable way with words and speech, and very much me aware of different situations that can add up to a good defense.
